Riding Mountain Wagyu Ltd was established by two small town physicians and a rancher – all farm boys at heart. In fireside discussions we decided that our location at the foot of Riding Mountain National Park would be an ideal setting to begin our full blood Wagyu herd. Our aim is to provide a locally raised, naturally and ethically produced, full blood premium Wagyu beef product to Western Canada.

Our herd was started by implanting full blood Wagyu embryos into locally raised cattle. We have now fully transitioned to naturally breeding full blood Wagyu using our own homegrown bulls and breeding stock. Our animals are all registered as full blood with the American Wagyu Association. We aim to continue to refine our genetics and our finishing process to provide a premium Wagyu beef experience to a savvy prairie clientele.
